Hi, please forgive the randomness of my comment. My Aunt Carol(your soon to be mother-in-law) gave me the addy of your blog when we were talking about the wedding. I'm hoping you can give me some insight as to what would be appropriate attire for guests. I know it's an evening wedding, but I wouldn't want to come too dressed up... but not nice enough would be just as bad. Over 50% of guests up here (IL) wear black to a wedding... is that true in TN too? What would your ideal wedding guests wear? Looking forward to meeting you in person! wildgazell@yahoo.com

Hey Kristy... Forgive the randomness of my blog and thanks for stopping by and visiting.

Attire for the guests... That might be the only thing that I haven't actually thought about YET.

It's not a true evening wedding so no evening gowns or formal attire needed. So no need for a floor length gown, no need for any gloves or sequence....

A great simple dress or skirt would be good. As for black, it's fine with me. I actualy haven't been to very many weddings. Most of my friends are still single! I do love black... makes you look thinner and it's a good color for me.

Think something cute, something age appropriate and definitely something you are comfortable wearing! Don't forget to bring your dance shoes.

I am sure whatever you decide to wear will be great. Just stear for the middle of the road - not to dressy (no evening gowns) and not to casual (jeans probably not a good idea).

I hope that helps... If you are still anxious, feel free to email me pictures or links to websites with similar dresses you are looking at.

Can't wait meet you! It's two weeks away!

PS... sorry about the delayed response. haven't been blogging alot lately!
